Adlington appoints Marketing Manager ahead of first sales launch

Adlington is preparing for the launch of its flagship development with the appointment of a new Sales & Marketing Manager. Located in Rhos-on-Sea, North Wales and exclusively for over 55s, the scheme will combine luxury apartment living alongside bespoke, 24-hour care on site. Claire Reede is keen to take up her new role at the Congleton-based company and transfer skills honed in over a decade in the hospitality industry.

Claire’s career so far has seen her work in a number of illustrious establishments, including The Gleneagles Hotel, where she spent ten years as Resort Leisure Manager before moving to Northern Ireland, undertaking the role of Group Spa Manager at the highly respected Hasting Hotels group. In this, her most recent role, Claire oversaw operations at an existing Spa while project managing the development of a new build Health Club and Spa.

Claire’s experience and commitment to customer care will stand her in good stead for her new role at Adlington, where she will be responsible for the marketing and sales of the company’s over 55s developments, most of which will offer bespoke, 24-hour care packages courtesy of partner, the registered Charity for older people MHA (Methodist Homes for the Aged). She says:

“I am genuinely excited to be working at Adlington. I really enjoyed being involved with the new development in Northern Ireland, particularly the challenges involved with procuring equipment, recruiting a new team, setting procedures and initiating marketing and promotion. New Homes is an area I’ve always been interested in and seems a natural progression – when I relocated to England with my husband, who was in the military, and found out about the opportunity at Adlington, it was just too good to miss.

“We’ve already had a phenomenal amount of interest in our forthcoming developments, especially since the launch at Tatton RHS Flower Show where we exhibited a Show Garden. There is a distinct gap in the marketplace for luxury apartments that offer bespoke, 24-hour care on site – people want to remain independent as long as they can, and the fact that care will be available in the privacy and comfort of their own home meets this demand. Adlington is set to launch its first development at Rhos-on-Sea in North Wales this autumn, and the company has already acquired further sites throughout the North West, Staffordshire and North Wales”

Since relocating to England, Claire has moved to Congleton. When not working she spends her free time in the great outdoors, horse riding, mountain biking, hill walking and honing her fishing skills, a hobby she has only recently taken up.
