New concept for luxury living with care to launch at Tatton RHS Show

A new concept in living aimed squarely at those aged over 55 is to be launched at the prestigious 2008 RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park, which runs from the 23rd – 27th July.

Congleton-based Adlington is set to build luxurious new apartments in some of the country’s finest locations, partnered by nationwide registered charity MHA (formerly Methodist Homes for the Aged) to provide bespoke on site 24-hour care packages to residents – offering as little, or as much assistance as individual needs demand – to create a unique opportunity for discerning downsizers, as Marketing Manager Tara Martin explains:

“Many people consider downsizing - it offers a host of opportunities, freeing up time and capital to enjoy the things they really love - but are unable to find a smaller home that suits their needs. Our aim is to offer beautiful apartments that provide the perfect balance between independence now and peace of mind for the future.

“Whether purchasers are independent and want to enjoy the freedoms that downsizing can offer such as travelling abroad, want to participate in the broad range of social events that will be available to them or require more specialist care, the options are available to them in the comfort of their own home. This combination offers reassurance that if their requirements change over time there will be far less chance of a further move to a nursing home.”

In addition to bespoke care packages, Adlington apartments will offer well designed, usable living spaces finished to a first class specification set within beautifully landscaped gardens. Stylish communal lounges, bistros and fitness suites are also planned at many of the developments, the first of which are set to start taking shape in locations across the North West and into North Wales over the next twelve months.

At the RHS Flower Show, members of the public will have the opportunity to get a feel for what life will be like at these exclusive new developments. The Adlington ‘Relax and Reflect’ garden has been designed to provide a true experience for the senses, combining a modernist layout with structural seating, lush planting, a cascading water feature, reflection pools and privacy in the form of a bamboo glade.

Members of the Adlington team will be on hand to discuss the concept with visitors, who will have the opportunity to register interest to receive privilege information as the developments take shape.

And as well as providing a beautiful exhibition at the RHS Flower Show, the ‘Relax and Reflect’ garden has been designed on sound green principles – not only have plants and materials been carefully sourced from local Cheshire suppliers, but the entire garden will be ‘re-cycled’ when it is used at a forthcoming Adlington development in Sandbach.

The first Adlington developments will be located in Romiley, Wolstanton near Newcastle-under-Lyme and Rhos-on-Sea in Colwyn Bay. Sites in Sandbach, Congleton, Northwich, Buxton in Derbyshire, Stone in Staffordshire and Beaumaris in Anglesey are set to follow. Visit the Adlington ‘Relax and Reflect’ garden at stand C68 at the RHS Tatton Show to find out more, alternatively visit www.adlington.co.uk to register interest or call 01260 288900.
